Mr Popeye, our vintage ice cream van, was born in 1965 in Crewe north England. He’s had been serving delicious ice creams around the midlands are of the UK untill about 1986 when he was parked up in a barn and effcetivly abandond.
In 2024 i rescued him and have been slowly bringing him back to life.
Mr Popeye is happy to be a part of photo shoots, TV and film work. He will help raise money for school fetes and charity events.
He is available to hire all year round, and will travel within a 20 mile radius of Cranliegh, covering Surrey and West Sussex. He can travel further afield with a piggy back on a trailer.
Mr Popeye is the oldest known surviving mini icecream van in the world – According to the mini icecream van register.
Restoration
After being abondond in a barn for over 30 years, we rescued him at the start of 2024 and have recorded videos on Youtube documenting all the work we have done.
